Like love
I haven’t got sand in my hands
My skin isn’t chapped;
Instead of the pass of years
I’ve been loved;
Instead of grey hair
I’ve got my heart undone.
You won’t see wrinkles in my face
Because I’m falling off inside;
You can realise in my eyes
Deep on them
An abyss growing;
You may touch me
And feel my body shaking;
But I’m not afraid of anything
It was just a squall
That came from somewhere (nowhere?).
Have you felt that too?
The wind flowing wherever you are
Penetrating your veins
Making your stomach feel empty.
Venerate it, breath that new air
Put it in a place
Where you can always remember it.
Keep it, not for yourself
But for that person that brings you
For the first time,
The fly of a butterfly,
The rise of the sun,
The moon in the night,
The sea with no end.
Now that you’ve seen it
Can you tell me what it is?
Now that you’ve felt it
Can you tell me what is it like?
Don’t put it in words
Show me an expression,
Don’t explain me a thought
Let me be like you for a while
For a little while,
Let me be in love once again
So I can sleep full up
Like if I were eating the whole world.
